Liaison.legal is free for parents, permanently and unconditionally. There is no parent payment rail in the product, no premium parent tier, and no credit card required to use any parent feature. You can document your co-parenting communication for as long as you like — whether or not you ever hire an attorney. Liaison.legal earns revenue from law firms, not from parents.
What "free" actually covers
Everything a parent uses: secure messaging, the tamper-evident ledger, read and open receipts, complete searchable history, document storage, and the verified record itself. All of it. No usage caps designed to push you into paying.
Why we can promise this
Documenting your communication should never depend on what you can afford — it's the part that protects you. So parents don't pay. Law firms do, when they're pulled into an active matter and use the record as part of their work. The parent who's simply keeping an honest record is never the customer.
"Free for parents" means documentation is free. It does not mean litigation is free — courts, attorneys, and filings have their own costs, set by them, not by us.
No ads. No selling your data. Not ever.
Liaison.legal does not run ads, does not sell or share your data with advertisers, and does not build a profile of you to monetize. In a record meant for court, that isn't just a privacy preference — a monetized record invites attacks on its neutrality. Neutrality is the whole point.
